In this vast world, everything is changing and changing… The same goes for finance and for the subject that interests us today: VAT and the 2021 reform for trade aimed at individuals within Europe.

We know a lot better about breeding and cooking, but we have to resolve to understand and apply the new legislation. We are therefore going to try to explain this new rule to you clearly because it will have an impact on the purchases that you will have with deliveries outside metropolitan France.

Until the new reform, the VAT on products and shipping applied was that of the producer country. From now on, the applicable VAT must be that of the RECIPIENT country.

You will therefore notice, when validating your delivery address, a change in the prices of your basket. Example:

A 350g duck confit shipped in France will have a 5.5% VAT: 15.50€ TTC

A 350g duck confit shipped to Germany will have a 7% VAT: 15.72€ TTC

The same goes for shipping rates. As each country has different VAT rates, each invoice will be different. This is called simplification………

Concretely: When filling in your place of delivery, the basket will be updated with all the details. You will also find it on your invoice.

And of course we remain at your disposal if necessary
